Kristin has over 12 years of experience working in the B2B and pharmaceutical sales industries. She has worked in a variety of roles ranging from sales training to leadership development and relationship management.
She founded KIBCU in 2012 with her husband after being disappointed with the amount of pollution she noticed on local beaches here in QAC. Kristin considers herself the "trash lady" here in our community, and fully supports the reduction of single-use plastics and other harmful debris in our environment.
Jon helped Kristin bring KIBCU to life by encouraging her to make us a
non-profit organization, and helps with everything and anything. Jon worked for UPS as a Senior Sales Executive for 18 years and was a National Sales Director for a leading national mechanical contractor. He also has been playing music since he was a teenager, and is currently in the band "The OddEven" touring all over the US.
With over 20+ years of sales management and training experience, Jon brings a lot of business development knowledge to our growing, grassroots organization.

Shannon is new to KIBCU having joined our Board of Directors in November 2020. Shannon's two daughters, Sarah and Kaitlyn, have both participated as Leaders in Training Interns with our organization before going off to college. She has participated in several cleanups and volunteered as a Site Captain in our 2018 and 2019 International Coastal Cleanups.
Since 1996, Shannon has worked in Accounting for various firms in the MD area. Currently, Shannon is the Controller at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Annapolis, MD.
Lauren has been in sales in a variety of industries for the past 8 years, and currently works for a building maintenance and facilities company in Beltsville, MD. Lauren joined KIBCU in 2017 because she simply is appalled by pollution and wanted to do something about it.
Lauren is married with two children in the QAC school system, and strives to keep them environmentally aware everyday!
